Many people that fail in this industry do not treat their business like a business. They pull out company information every so often but never for a persistence and consistent length of time.
A good example would be golf professionals. To be a great golfer you must play golf for a persistence and consistent length of time. They go to the practice range and hit thousands of balls a month. They play golf daily and this takes a lot of time and practice to reach the professional level. They seek advice of a mentor or golf pro that can help improve their game. They look for the tip or advice that will make them better. They are a student of the game. (more…)

Something I keep seeing in today’s MLM (Multi Level Marketing) and online businesses that is getting way out of hand. That is the issue of taking responsibility for YOUR business.

One example from a past business associate explains this very well. This down line associate sent us an email stating that he was dropping out since we did not help him; we did not call him, and did not give him support.

Over the years I have been involved in MLM, Network Marketing and Internet Marketing over and over again I’ve seen the same thing. One thing that leads to people failing more than possibly any other cause. (Except laziness and not working).  That is flawed techniques.

To succeed and have a huge organization you DO NOT have to attack your friends and family, have the latest and greatest digital marketing system, purchase expensive leads or attack or approach any person that comes within three feet of you. To succeed in this industry and have a huge organization that will provide you time and money freedom you must learn MARKETING and become a master at marketing.

To give a bit of back ground to what question kept bothering me today, it all started a couple weeks back.
I was invited by a good friend to come see the latest and greatest opportunity to hit the face of the earth.

I am very happy with the opportunity and company I am with. Best I have seen in over 20 years and a product all marketers have waited for their whole career in network marketing or in MLM. We all have looked for that product that jumps the MLM wall and is destine to be the next billion dollar company. (I have found it)

Well the time came to be at the hotel. As I walked in I recognized most of the room since I have been to a lot of meeting by this gentleman before. My friend was doing his normal pre-meeting sermon. The meeting was not to start for another 10 minutes, but he was up giving pre-inspiration. A few people were getting board with the pre meeting sermon and a few left 5-10 minutes into the meeting.

Hint, this is not a good practice to follow. If you say the meeting is at 7:30 sharp don’t get up and give a pre meeting – meeting. Start it a 7:30 not at 7:35 after the pre-meeting sermon.

Well the meeting started and it was soon to the compensation plan. Nothing was said about the products to this point. The compensation plan had my attention and it was looking like something I may want to look at further. Not as a main company but as one to build through internet marketing.
